Zocalo Ice Rink

I did pass the new, and temporary ice rink that has been erected in the Zocalo on Saturday. But they had a special opening event and the crowds were just heaving. No chance to get a good photo. Really I need to find time to get up onto the balcony of the Holiday Inn restaurant to get a good shot. But just in case you’re interested in seeing what it looks like, I’ve hunted down a couple of photos, day and night, on the web.

Christmas Colours

Mexicans love Christmas. And why not…they work long hours, with precious little time off. But everyone gets at least 2 days extra over Xmas and New Year! Big deal, I hear all Europeans mutter. Yeah, the EU statutory holidays are nice. I caught a few Christmassy snaps over the weekend, which I’ve made in a small collage, seeing as I don’t know what else to do with them…
